It's only one game. The Yankees were ready for this series unlike Boston. Our hitting needs to come along way yet. We lost two in a row now. I sure hope we don't lose out newest fan "shiny". Hang in there we shall over come. Better days will be upon us soon.

I am going to give the Rays all the credit in the world right now, however, until you either lock up First place in the AL East or get into the post-season I would not crown them champions of anything just yet.  Of course I think that they can do it and they probably will, but the rays have not swept the Yankees or the Red Sox (meaning taking every game) and got the Orioles when I believe they were hurt and also when the Blue Jays were as well.  That's not to take any credit away from their (Rays) wins, it's just to say hold off on crowning them yet.

Raysjaysorioles, as one fellow Rays fan to another, keep quiet for your own good till later in the season so we can all see how this plays out. Everyone still has the entire second half of the season to watch and see how this division race is going to play out. And if you're gonna try and talk smack to all these yanks and sox fans, then don't disgrace all your other fellow fans by making a complete ass of yourself. The AL East is by far the best division in all of baseball, with the NL Central coming in at second. After those two divisions the rest of them are a complete wash. And remember raysjaysorioles, we just lost two in a row to the Yankees at their house. Oh sure, the Rays were playing good ball before they lost these games, but now our team has lost three in a row and now has to start from almost square one again since that 5 game lead we had coming out of this past weekend has shrunk to two over the past three days. Remember Rays fans out there, do not get cocky just because we are leading the division right now. There is still a lot of baseball to be played, and it will be a fantastic race to the finish.
