Buckster, TS Hannah rolling in but the day still is sunny!

My dad is just over the top about all the youngsters delivering, me too.

W/o Schill, Beckett, Manny, Lowell, Drew and Youk. (Ortiz lookin old )................they still sizzled in August

Remember my early spring post?  2008 was the year of youth for the Sox.  I thought a rebuild year and patience was in order.  Changing of the guard.

Never could have imagined

This was a good, hard fought game by both teams. Andy Pettitte went to the mound for the Yankees vs the Mariners away. He pitched okay. Pettitte pitched seven innings, allowed three earned runs, walked a batter and struck out nine. Andy Pettitte will get the loss and drop his record down to 13-12. Brandon Morrow went to the mound for the Mariners vs the Yankees at home. He pitched great. Morrow pitched 7 2/3 innings, allowed only one earned run, walked three batters and struck out eight. Brandon Morrow will get the win and bump his record up to 2-2. J.J. Putz came into the 9th inning and shut down the Yankees in order to pick up his 11th save of the season so far. Player of the game: Miguel Cairo - 1 for 3, 1 hit, 1 run scored and 1 RBI. The final score, Yankees 1, Mariners 3.

All I got to say is Friday night in New York I'm not staying home to watch a late game when i could be doing much better things

oh I know the Bronx offers many special events around 11pm , that's for sure

Pretty sure if it was a 700 pm game alot more of us would have been here..

so your insinuating you know for a fact that the others are busy doing other things and not wanting to come on this thread because of the sad state of affirs with your team?

humm, anyway, I don't care who's on 1st and whos on 2nd and where anyone might be.. just seen many a fan posting late game threads before

Well the Rays hit their losing streak as we imagined, Yanks just never got the wins rolling like we needed to, now we adopt the famous Cubs motto, "wait til next year"
