Scott Pollard hurt his back getting out of his car
not even gonna laugh at that one...cuz I did the same thing last year. Pulled a lower back muscle hoping out of my truck in a hurry to try and catch the train. Just plain sad.
Didn't Clint Barmes re-injure his back carrying groceries a year or so back?
Tons of freaky ones like that off the field, but I'm sure there are tons like what Quentin did caused by temper on the field or in the dugout/club house. I bet they get masked somehow, or the story spun...at least Quentin had the balls to admit the truth.
