Are we talking football yet? Seriously, who knows who is going to make a good president? I've been a Republican forever. I'm not well schooled in politics and I'll admit kind of stupid when it comes to it. Even when I voted for Reagan way back in the 80's I never realized he would be that good. I despised Clinton his 8 years in office but apparently he was (cough cough) pretty good.
Alright, Bush may look like a bumbling idiot from time to time but when he was elected the first time he walked into a hornets nest with 9/11. Did he make the wrong choice with going to war? I don't think so. He had no choice! What would you do? Seriously, I think they have definately been there too long but it's kind of hard to pull out once you've started something. There are different perspectives on the war from the cats that are over there. Most don't want to see their friends that have lost their lives deaths be in vein.
Then you have this self riteous ***** Cindy Sheehan crying about losing her son to the war when he wanted a free education. HEY there was no draft. this isn't Vietnam, they elected to go to serve their country and I couldn't be prouder of them. I have a buddy whose son is set to head to Paris Island to join the corp. I'm like Are you Crazy? That's what he wants to do. I'm not going to get into the whole Obama debate. although McCain is a hero and what has Obama done other than refuse to cross his heart during th Nat'l anthem...that's pretty scary when you think about it. If that's who you want to run your country good luck. Oh yeah Palin is much better looking than that fossil Joe Biden. Ha Ha!
